The other guests from the wedding also agreed they got the same vibe. We were told check-in is at 3, we took a chance and came early, they did not have any rooms which was understandable, since it was I went to the bridal suite to get ready and my friends hung out at the pool and tried checking-in at 3, they were told the rooms would not be ready until 5! The wedding started at 5 and we booked under the wedding block. I would think they would accommodate the wedding guest to keep us on the wedding schedule.
My husband booked at another hotel down the street because they did not have any more pet-friendly rooms. My friends all got ready at the other hotel, I did not find this all out until we all met at the wedding, I was upset and called Bluewater to try to cancel the room. They refused and said the room was now ready.
Spent a few nights at the casino while we were at the river. Overall, clean environment, didn't smell like smoke, most of the machines were clean and functioning. We played Bingo and enjoyed the free soda and great happy hour drink specials.
When it came to gambling, unfortunately, the odds were not in our favor the nights we were there I had the opportunity to stay at the blue water casino resort in Parker last weekend and I enjoyed staying there. The room was clean and has 2 queen beds and plenty of room for an air mattress or travel gear. The room also had a small refrigerator which was nice to store drinks in.
I happened to stay on the 5th floor so the view from the balcony was excellent. The amenities at the hotel are great. Obviously there's a casino, several bars, an indoor pool, arcade and movie theater.
The hotel also has a wake board park, boats slips, launch wrap and float up cantina. Overall I was happy to have all the amenities and enjoyed my stay at the blue water. The hotel rates are reasonable and the accommodations are nice. I've been coming to the water for over 20 years and the last 5 or so years customer service has gotten very poor.
The rooms are ok if you can get them cleaned. Rooms were not cleaned daily. When I called the front desk after coming from the river to put in a complaint they told me it was to late to clean it. So I asked for some refund. The next day I went to confirm the Check refund lol jokes on me because the person I talked to was not authorized.
Its really upsetting because I've been going with my family without fail for over 20 years. I guess I'm just going to have to find a different place to go now. When I got my credit card statement the discount was around 20 bucks. It's perfect for what it is and that's a river hotel. Customer service on the other hand, isn't the best. They were still friendly though, just didn't seem to know much. Overall, the hotel is good for a weekend river trip, but definitely doesn't compare to a Marriott.
For a hospitality establishment, the front desk and customer service suck! It's a shame because everything else about this resort was cool. The first people we have to face ruins it. Came to Havasu for a bachelor party.
Hit the casino at night and played some Video Poker. Their system went down. Machine was unable to pay out and required 'handpay by attendant'. It took an hour and a half to finally get our money paid out after several personnel offered help. Casino expected the donation; The house always wins. The only plus are the views and the indoor pool. Other than that noting special about the rooms. They don't offer a breakfast.
At times the service is mediocre. You can get a little gambling in whale you stay. Me and my family had a blast here, it's a great place to get away and relax. There's 3 tiers of pools and they are all different. It's great for the little ones, since there's the kiddie pool, which is huge! They have a couple of restaurants inside and a Starbucks, which was a nice surprise. There is also a mini gym. Right next to the casino they even have a movie theater which have great prices!
Keep in mind this is all the resort area, there are still plenty of things to do outside. My family and I will definitely be coming back! Also, the suit had a great patio area which was huge with an awesome view of the river! Always a fun annual family trip. Staff is very nice and accommodating to our very large group.
Views of the river off the balcony are a memory our kids will pass on to their Kids. We love the water slide to close down the night while the kids get ice cream you might find the adults playing a little adult gaming! Win or lose, always a fun time for all ages. We will continue to come back. Filthy rooms, rude staff. Way too many chiefs and not enough Indians.
Awesome pool and outside view.. They sent us to our room with our luggage, our room was not even close to be clean and it was 5: They granted us a room on the west wing side, we requested to be in that side at first they said it wasn't available which it was.
They were so focus on watching us if we had outside drinks rather than our own safety. One, we saw a guy breaking into a car in the parking lot around 11 PM. We told security, his response was just a blank stare!
He didn't even care, but he was watching our every move. An older Male followed us to our room, he followed us from the bar!
He sat down in our patio.. So she asked him if he was staying there, he responded by saying that he's staying at the motel 6 down the street. That's when we all started panicking. He was not a guest and was able to roam inside and out of the hotel!!
Like I said they were so focus on other stuff rather than our own safety. They knock on our door 3 times on our last day.. They said they were expecting a big party. But then again when we arrived our room was not ready and it was 5: Always willing to give second chance.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel for the Parker Float Down. It was a lot smaller than I had anticipated but still clean and just enough. I knocked off two stars because of two things; one. The staff was not friendly. Two, they are extremely OVER priced. And maybe because they ran out of cookies and cream ice cream just kidding, but that was a bummer. We contacted the front desk to see if they had a shuttle service for the float and they literally said 'nope' before we finished and hung up.
We called back to try to get a companies number because Lyft and Uber don't have services there and I think they gave us their cousins number. We ended up driving ourselves which worked out better! They had a deli that served delicious chili cheese fries and a bomb grilled cheese!
I can't even begin to tell you how good they were at 10 o'clock at night! I will say that the gentleman working the register was friendly, finally!!
